Artist Statement: In “The Outsiders”, a solitary figure stands apart in the night, looking at group gathered in celebration. The cityscape is a vibrant blend of colors, while the silhouetted figure represent solitude within a crowd.
The gradient of light and shadow and expressive use of color serve to engage the viewer’s imagination, allowing for a personal interpretation of the work. This painting is a personal exploration of individuality in a bustling city, aiming to evoke introspection and connection in viewers.
