Almost Remembered

30 × 30 inches | Acrylic on Gallery Mat

“Remembrance of things past is not necessarily the remembrance of things as they were.”

— Marcel Proust, In Search of Lost Time

Artist Statement

A passing landscape, a fleeting impression, something familiar but just beyond reach. Almost Remembered explores the dreamlike nature of nostalgia, where movement blurs the boundaries between memory and imagination. Through color and texture, the painting evokes the feeling of remembering something without quite knowing what it was.
