Artist Statement

There are moments when the landscape seems to stretch beyond its own boundaries, when light and atmosphere transform the familiar into something almost infinite.

Inspired by an evening on my husband’s grandmother’s property in Florida, Boundless captures the extraordinary golden light filtering through the Spanish moss of the surrounding trees. The warmth of the setting sun softens the landscape, illuminating a pathway that seems to continue endlessly into the distance.

In that quiet interplay of light and shadow, the familiar becomes something extraordinary. The trees seem to dissolve into the atmosphere, and the path ahead offers no particular destination, only the possibility of continuing.

A reminder that sometimes the world feels limitless when we simply allow ourselves to see beyond what is immediately before us.
